von Echenbach: Поскольку "утюги" и "комоды" весьма почтенная вещь в себе, осмелюсь предложить основы темы, которые с помощью уважаемых участников ... Испытания брони во Франции, Англии в 1842-46 гг. привели к временному отказу от броненосного судостроения в мировой практике. Полученные результаты в России "ошибочно" оценили в сторону "попытки заинтересованными странами скрыть истинное положение дел". Это заставило обратить серьезное внимание развитию металлургии и машиностроению в России, что привело к постройке "легких" железных дорогот Москвы (из СПб) до Киева-Николаева-Одессы, Харькова-Юзовки-(Ростова)Мариуполя-Симферополя- (Севастополя?) и разработке "броненосной канонерской лодки для обороны гаваней". БРКЛ: наклонный каземат 2-3 дм брони из 1" слоев железа с 2 48 (60) фунт. орудиями и 60-фунт бомбической пушкой (реальные калибры посмотрю и вставлю позднее - нет под рукой) в носовой части, в кормовой части каземата - гребное двойное колесо, паровая паровозная машина, 200-300т, 4-5 уз, носовые шестовые мины (переделаны из гальванических мин Якоби. - 4 (в постройке 4) для БФ (Кронштадт), 6 (в постройке 6)- для ЧФ (Севастополь) готовы к январю 1854 г. Кроме этого - 4 (в постройке 4) броненосных буксира с 2 24-фунт. орудиями для обеспечения маневрирования парусных ЛК в прибрежных действиях. 2 ЛК ЧФ переделаны в особые "камели": приспособлены для транспортировки этих броненосных канонерских лодок по морю. Также строятся по похожей схеме КЛ, но без брони и с 1 -32 фунт и 2-24 фунт орудиями без брони. Англия и Франция проигнорировали строительство подобных курьёзных "плотов". Каковы возможности противодействия англо-французским экспедиционным силам при активном ведении операций ( кн. Меншиков в отставке по болезни)? Какие личности могли руководить действиями армии и флота? Вероятность успеха в противодесантной (Варна) операции или при атаке Босфора? Борьба с блокирующими дозорами у главных портов? Участие "броненосцев" в случае решительного сражения?
